I don't get people who don't support the military but suppport the troops. The troops are the apparatus of the military. They are all trained to unquestioningly kill and even if they do not directly do so, they are cogs in the machine. It's the lingering memory of Vietnam combined with the spinning of the Right Wing War Machine that has made the disagreement with the military in general a fringe left wing belief that is something akin to believing that George Bush is actually an alien that looks quite a but like a giant lizard but has somehow masked his true identity from the masses. But to make this clear, unequivocally supporting the US military is analogous to Nazy sympathizers who stated that, while they don't agree with what the Nazis are doing, the Nazis are mostly good kids who are being exploited by Hitler. Fuck that.
